We all enjoyed carving
pumpkins this year. This was Natalie's first year and she was really excited to make them. We went out to
Pumpkinland and picked out the pumpkins and also picked out the faces we were going to carve on them. Natalie insisted that her pumpkin needed eyebrows, so it was pretty easy for her to pick out a face to put on her
pumpkin. Derek and Natalie worked on one together and I managed to carve on
e on my own. Natalie was kind of weirded out by the texture of the insides, so she told Daddy to do it and she would watch. Her favorite part was lighting them. We tes
ted them out in the kitchen before going outside. She thought they looked really cool in the dark and was very proud of her and Daddy's pumpkin. She also liked Mommy's, but thiers was the coolest.
